Horse Racing Tips for Flemington 21/6/25

Saturday racing in Melbourne returns to headquarters, as Flemington hosts a 9 race card with plenty of talented horses engaged.

A Good surface is expected and despite the rail being out 11m, the long straight will give every horse its chance.

It’s a meeting that features several progressive types stepping through the grades.

Race 8 #3 Jimmy The Bear $4.40

The 6YO gelding from the Payne stable is racing in great fashion and this race sets up nicely for him with the likelihood of good speed.

He's had an impressive campaign to date, with a win at Caulfield 2nd-up over the mile followed by a runner-up finish behind the very smart Oh Too Good at this track and distance.

There's no horse in this race up to that calibre and with good speed engaged, Jimmy The Bear is suited down to the ground. 

He’s at peak fitness fourth-up and he'll be piloted by the claiming Tom Prebble, who clearly knows how to get the best out of the horse.
