Free Horse Racing Tips and best bets for Moonee Valley 28/10/2023

What a time to be alive with one of Australia's most prestigious races set to be run and won, the Cox Plate.

It's massive weekend ahead, kicking off on Friday and running through to Saturday afternoon.

There is plenty of brilliant racing including the Manikato, Vase and more.

The rail is in the true position for the entire circuit and should favour those on speed.

Melbourne form analyst Michael Manley drops his best for the meeting ahead.

 

 

Moonee Valley Race 10 #10 Maharba

It’s a long wait for the best bet but it should prove worthwhile.

Grahame Begg has also demonstrated patience in waiting for this race for Maharba who hasn’t raced since he finished strongly to defeat subsequent Caulfield winner Brave Mead at this track and distance on AFL Grand Final eve.

Begg has always had a nice opinion of this gelding who also finished second to Shinzo in the Pago Pago Plate as a two-year-old.

He’s drawn ideally in barrier seven for the final event of 18 races held at The Valley.

I’ll stick with the local stars.

Alligator Blood is in sensational form and should get an ideal run on the speed. 

The firm track will be right up his alley.

Mr Brightside should also be on speed and he loves The Valley.
