There’s nothing quite like Moonee Valley under lights on a Friday night, just before the big Cox Plate on Saturday.

The rail is in the True position, which should give an edge to those up on speed, but Moonee Valley has been playing pretty evenly lately.

There are plenty of reasons to like this one:

• Busuttin & Young have engaged top jockey Mark Zahra for the ride.
• Barrier 1 gives it a great opportunity to control the race from the front.
• Last start, it wasn’t suited leading from the fence, but if you look back at its two prior runs at Moonee Valley, it finished 4th beaten by only 0.5L in a race where the inside wasn't ideal.
• Two starts back, it was given an absolute peach of a ride by Zahra, finishing ahead of two subsequent winners.

This horse is flying, and Zahra is the kind of elite senior rider who knows how to get the job done in these situations.

This could set us up nicely for what promises to be an elite weekend of racing.
