We’re back at The Heath, where we’ve enjoyed much success recently.

A big shoutout to Craig Williams for his masterful ride on Bon Mistress on Saturday, a proper peach of a steer!

Looking ahead to Wednesday, it’s shaping up to be a tough and even card at Caulfield.

To be honest, there aren’t many standout betting angles as I write this, so I’ll likely be keeping my cash in my pocket.

However if you’re keen to have a play, I’ve spotted a small angle in Race 5 with Willow on board once again.

Race 5 #5 – Better Link

Better Link makes an intriguing return to Australia after a stint in Hong Kong, where he was trained by the renowned C.S. Shum.

This gelding is now back with Greg Eurell, with whom he had five starts before heading overseas.

When producing 2 wins, a second, and a third—a clear sign of a successful combination.

Before his sole disappointing run overseas, the form around Better Link was solid, and he looks well-placed here.

Since returning to Australia, he’s had two sharp trials, suggesting he’s ready to fire.

The booking of Craig Williams is another positive, with the Eurell-Williams partnership boasting a 25% strike rate over their last 100 runners—an absolutely airborne partnership.

The one knock on this runner is the price. He’s been backed in from $4.80 to $3.40 as of writing, and he’s probably sitting at about his right price now.

That said, if the track favours on-pace runners $3.40 might still represent value.
