Horse Racing Tips for Five Diamonds and Golden Gift 2023 11/11/23

It's Five Diamonds Day at Rosehill and there is plenty of feature racing to excite punters.

Mick Gannon and Luke Hovhanesian are fresh off brilliant Oaks Day performances and looking to keep the hot form going.

Rosehill Race 6 - Hot Danish Stakes (1400m)

 

Mick Gannon Tip

  Roots ($3.40) stays in Sydney and finds a very winnable race.

She maps to perfection and gets the services of Tommy Berry who is riding very weel at the moment.

Given a soft run she should put these away.

 

Luke Hovhanesian Tip

 Royal Merchant ($2.80) has come up attractive odds to have a play in this event.

She has been getting a mile back in her races and rattling home when it's all over.

She is now at peak fitness third up, drops in grade and finds a small field.

She can sit just off the leaders and power away from her rivals.

 

 

Rosehill Race 7 - Golden Gift (1100m)

 

Mick Gannon Tip

 Shangri La Express ($2.30) ran good time last start on debut.

He burnt the candle at both ends and was convincing in victory.

He should drift due to the wide gate, but this will only give us a better price to play.

If he shows the speed he did on debut he can cross the field, dictate and run them into the ground.

 

Luke Hovhanesian Tip

 Rue De Royale ($18) is the horse who has the most improvement to come from his debut performance.

He raced in a hot event at The Valley and didn't like being restrained to take a sit.

He got his head in the air and fought the rider the whole way.

He did well considering to grip on for 4th behind a smart winner.

From the soft draw here he can lead them up and be hard to catch over the 1100m dash.

 

Rosehill Race 8 - Five Diamonds (1800m)

 

Mick Gannon Tip

Hope In Your Heart ($17) must once again overcome a horrible draw but we’re getting a big price to find out.

She was solid last start in a high-quality Group 1 and had excuses not to finish closer.

Needs luck in transit but is clearly over the odds.

 

Luke Hovhanesian Tip

 Detonator Jack ($13). This is Jack's race to lose.
