His recent form clearly showing he needs good ground to perform at his best.

He’s won two of his last three starts, both on dry tracks, and was a forgive run on a wet surface in between.

This race shapes perfectly from a speed perspective, with Oscar's Fortune, Regal Zeus, and Lim’s Saltoro all expected to push forward early.

That sets it up for Jye McNeil to slot in behind the leaders and let Verdad finish over the top.
