How did our resident tipsters fare?

Lays of the Day review

James Beeson was bang on the mark yet again with his two lays at Sandown last Saturday, bravely sticking his neck out to pot two favourites paying less than $3.00.

With another 100% strike rate, the resident senior racing analyst at theGreatTipOff.com is fast establishing himself as one of the most lethal analysts in the game.

He put a line through a pair of horses that he described as having a certain lustre about them, luring punters down the wrong path.

These two horses demonstrated the age-old saying that all that glitters is not gold.

Read on below to see which horses came unstuck last week, or see who he's put the mockers on this week.

His first lay last Saturday was Sound in Sandown Race 2.

Beeson identified the fact that this stayer has failed to fire a shot since arriving in Australia.

And after having to lump an extra 6.5kg off a mediocre Cup performance, the $2.80 was pure poison for Beeson.

Sound drifted right out to $5 odds and was soundly beaten again.

Beeson's second lay was D'bai in Race 6.

Just like Sound, D'bai is a horse that lured punters in with it's form in big overseas races.

With a wide draw and plenty of good quality horses in the race, Beeson wasn't keen.

D'bai finished in 4th place.

Early Market Movers Review

In this article, we provide tips based on how the market reacts after opening midweek.

This is when pro punters come for the horses that they deem over the odds.

And last week our proven model which detects the smart money was spot on, landing four winners from the seven horses which lined up at the barriers.

What's more is that the biggest go at Sandown (Hanseatic in Race 1), and the biggest plunge at Newcastle (Savatiano in Race 6) both got the chocolates.

Overall, these free tips resulted in 123% POT for all punters who snapped up the odds at the time of publication.

The pro punters certainly had a week to remember.

And they've been active in early markets again this week, which you can see here.

Sandown Guineas Preview

In the first of the day's feature races at Sandown, the Guineas, James Beeson showed he can do more than lay a horse.

He tipped the winner, Pretty Brazen, and was likewise spot-on in predicting that Heart Of Puissance would run third.

After a wide run at Flemington in its last start, Beeson was confident that Pretty Brazen would get an economical transit from an inside alley and prove too strong for them late on.

This analysis was right on the money and punters were laughing all the way to the bank.
