Kembla Grange Race 5 Tip #5 Highjacker $5.50
This Les Bridge galloper has been in my black book for a long time now and has continued to show he's better than maiden grade at the trials.
On each occasion, he travelled well within himself and motored through the line. This suggests he will improve as he rises in distance.
At his latest race start, he was narrowly defeated by Chocolatier. That galloper has gone on to win two more races since, including a Bathurst Cup.
Les Bridge has been very patient with the son of High Chaparral, giving him plenty of time to mature in the paddock and he should be fit enough here after two trials.
First-up over 1300m suits, as does the long Kembla straight, which should give the gelding enough time to run them down.
Randwick Race 6 Tip #11 Crystal Falls $13 each-way
I can’t drop off this filly now.
She has been crying out for more distance and finally gets to the mile here.
Last start over the 1400m, she was again near last when straightening and left a near impossible task to pick them up.
She ran through the line well and looked to be going far better than her rivals past the post. This tells me she is the superior stayer amongst the runners coming out of the Sires Produce.
I’m hoping they decide to sit closer to the speed this Saturday, which will give this filly a chance to pick them up in the straight.

Randwick Race 8 Tip #2 Home Of The Brave $2.10
This gelding from the Godolphin camp has come up a short-priced favourite and deservedly so.
His three Australian runs have been full of merit, including a 2-length win in the Group Two Theo Marks.
His first-up record is as good as they come, with four wins and two seconds from seven starts.
Off the back of two nice trials, he comes into this race raring to go and the booking of James McDonald suggests he's ready to win.
He's short, but he looks a good thing!

Randwick Race 3 Tip #1 Amangiri $2.70
Went very close for us last start.
Her career is off to a great start with two wins and two seconds to date.
Fifth-up with extra fitness on her side and back on to a good track should all equal a great run.
I'm very keen to see how she goes here.
Caulfield Race 7 Tip #1 Fastnet Tempest $13.00 each-way
This Hayes/Dabernig runner looks a huge chance here at odds.
He’s had four starts third-up for three wins and a second.
He had no luck at all last start when blocked all the way home here at Caulfield and at the price with three prior wins over the trip, he's worth a spec.
