Rosehill Racing: Best Bets at Rosehill 17 November 2018

Feature race previews & tips
As the sun sets on another fantastic Spring Carnival, the focus for many this Saturday will be on Sandown for the Group 2 Zipping Classic.
Rosehill will take centre stage in NSW however, with an even card of racing scheduled.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and fine weather is forecast.
The rail is out 6m the entire circuit which will prove advantageous for those who can sit on-pace, with rails in the run being a huge plus.
Race 6 TAB.COM.AU Handicap (BM 88) 1500m
There is a distinct lack of pace engaged in this race.
Arraignment (6) and Watchdog (7) (blinkers first-time), will amble across to the rails and lead comfortably.
Dissolution (3) and Mutarakem (2) will get the perfect trail in behind the leaders.
Drochaid (11) and Notio (8) (blinkers first-time) will need to race handily if they want to threaten off an even tempo.
The well-fancied Suncraze (10) will drift back in the field and is unlikely to be suited by the race tempo.
Watchdog steps up in grade, but is weighted accordingly and looks set to get the run of the race.
Taking the punt here that the blinkers improve him a length or two.
He doesn't need to improve too much from his previous efforts to be winning this moderate race.
Notio also gets the blinkers for the first time, which should ensure he takes a more forward position in the run.
If jockey Corey Brown can find a spot in the running line, this gelding will be fighting out the finish.
Dissolution is drawn perfectly for this assignment and can figure in the finish.
He hasn't shown his best of late and there is no doubt he needs things to go his way in the run, which is likely to occur on Saturday.
Mutarakem is another who has drawn perfectly to take advantage of a moderate tempo.
He has had a win and two places at the distance from five starts and can run a place at a good price.
Race Tips
1st Watchdog
2nd Notio
3rd Dissolution
4th Mutarakem
Race 7 Rosehill Bowling Club Sprint (BM 94) 1100m
There is an abundance of early speed in this race.
Look for Holy Seal (13) Tango Rain (8), Nictock (4) and Isorich (2) to all contest the lead.
Isaurian (1) and Gibraltar Girl (3) look set to get the gun run behind the leaders, in what is set to be a high-pressure sprint.
Second favourite Badajoz (11) will be near last from the wide barrier and if the track plays evenly, he'll be flying at them late.
Isaurian will sit just off the pace on the rail. He will need a touch of luck on turning for home and if he gets any room in the straight, expect him to win.
He looks the classiest horse in the race, with one of Sydney's best jockeys booked to ride. The best bet of the day.
Gibraltar Girl doesn't win often but gets Tim Clark aboard and looks to get a dream run in transit.
She has contested higher quality races than this and is well weighted at 53kg. She'll put her best foot forward and should be included in all exotics.
Badajoz has drawn poorly and will need the overcome the predicted on-pace bias if he is to figure in the finish. He's a quality galloper who knows how to win, but will have to do it the hard way from barrier 11.
Dissolute is an ultra-consistent gelding who can run top four. He's drawn perfectly to be thereabouts, but he's not a realistic winning chance.
Race Tips
1st Isaurian
2nd Gibraltar Girl
3rd Badajoz
4th Dissolute
Race 8 Australian Turf Club Sprint (BM 78) 1200m
Ready to Prophet (1) and Hussterical (5) from the Waterhouse & Bott yard will both push forward from inside draws.
There is no chance they'll go at each other in the lead, which is likely to produce a slow tempo.
Invictum Domina (13) is the only other runner with strong early speed, but from the wide draw he's likely to be given time to come across and take a sit behind the leading pair.
Short-priced favourite Seasons (2) is drawn well for this assignment, but will need to hold a more forward position if she is to be fighting out the finish.
The remainder of the field will slot in to find a position in the run, with the well-fancied Deft (6), likely to be giving away a huge start to the leaders.
Seasons is the most talented horse in the race. If Tim Clark can hold a more forward position in the run, there is no doubt she'll be winning.
Hussterical will get a picnic in front and with race fitness on her side, she'll give Seasons something to run down.
Invictum Domina is well suited on a dry surface and loves the 1200m. If she can slide in behind the leaders, she'll be fighting out the finish.
Ready to Prophet will no doubt get an easy time of it up in front, but when the whips are cracking it's likely her fitness will give out. She's a good type and should be followed through the Summer period.
Race Tips
1st Seasons
2nd Hussterical
3rd Invictum Domina
4th Ready to Prophet
Race 9 #THERACES Handicap (BM 78) 1300m
The final race on the card looks a great contest.
I Am Magnificent (9) is accepted for Canterbury on Friday night and is likely to come out of this field, which will change the landscape of this race significantly.
The Pharoah (1) will look to make use of the 3kg claim for Robbie Dolan and hold the rail.
Monsieur Sisu (3) and Catesby (2) both have the early toe to hold a forward position.
Sweet Deal (4), Mapmaker (5), Newsfan (6) and Sparky Lad (7) will all get a soft run behind the leaders, with those drawn outside barriers likely to be caught wide in the run.
Newsfan impressed in a BM88 last start and drops significantly in grade for this assignment.
She goes up 5kg for that win but will be afforded some relief with apprentice Sam Weatherly claiming 2kg. She's drawn perfectly in barrier six, and if she gets even breaks, she'll be winning this with ease.
Sweet Deal is a talented galloper who was tested in Group company last preparation.
She goes up in grade but drops 4kg from her last start. She's run three seconds at her three second-up performances and should run a place again here.
Mapmaker loves Rosehill and is always thereabouts in this class of race. There is no reason to suggest he won't be filling a place spot yet again.
Sparky Lad has shown nothing in two previous first-up efforts and comes into this race without a trial.
He must be showing something at home for the Waller stable to have booked the services of Brenton Avdulla and it could pay to include him in your wider exotics.
Race Tips
1st Newsfan
2nd Sweet Deal
3rd Mapmaker
4th Sparky Lad
