Early Market Movers Review
Those who stuck with the tips which track smart money in early markets, were cheering last week.
While some of the free tips were scratched, there were two big winners amongst the selections.
In fact, remove the scratched horses and the free tips from the early market movers finished with 62% POT.
The two winners who saluted both came at Sunshine Coast.
Tarzan stormed to victory in Race 2 paying $3.80 at the time of publication, whilst Baccarat Baby greeted the judge at $3.00 in Race 6.
The pro punters were confident with these horses and this faith was repaid.
Check out who the pro punters are honing in on this week in the market movers report here.
Lays of the Day review
James Beeson couldn't have been any more spot on with his lays of the day article last week.
While one of his two lays ended up being scratched, the other had an absolute stinker, much to the delight of Beeson.
His first lay was Tycoon Ace in Sunshine Coast Race 2.
The theme of last week's article was "fat favourites," and Tycoon Ace looked well over the odds after having to lump an extra 1.5kg on his previous run.
Beeson also didn't like the speed map for this horse, with plenty of horses set to attack him for the lead.
And this is exactly what happened.
Tycoon Ace was overwhelmed out in front and dropped out to finish a long last.
Considering he started at $2.20 odds, this was a ripping lay from Beeson.

Best Bets for Saturday races review
It was a mixed bag from our resident tipsters last Saturday.
While one of them steered punters into a good thing, it was quieter elsewhere.
Read on to discover which of the site's tipsters did the best.
Free Racing Tip from Michael Gannon
Rosehill Race 1: #1 Mr Wong
It was number 1 in Race 1 for Gannon, who stated that this runner was screaming out for the step-up in distance.
With a good draw, and wet-track breeding on his side, Gannon was confident.
However, Mr Wong never really got going, and finished in 6th place.
Free Racing Tips from Ben Beare
Morphettville Race 1: #4 Hard Press
Beare knew that this colt was the class runner in the field, and was confident he would break his maiden in style.
And didn't he ever, streaking away to win by a big margin.
Beare tipped this horse when it was at $2.25.
Credit to you if you got on then, because it got crunched right in to $1.50.
Rosehill Race 1: #1 Mr Wong
Beare also went with this talented gelding.
As mentioned above, Mr Wong just didn't get going, in what was a disappointing result.
Free Racing Tips from Matt Buckland
Rosehill Race 8: #1 Bon Amis
Buckland loved this horse's consistency.
This was especially the case over the trip, where Bon Amis has finished in the top two from all seven starts.
This streak ended with a disappointing run on Saturday. He finished 9th.
Caulfield Race 7 #8 Dr Drill
