Our proven model which detects the smart money in early betting markets struck gold last week.
After a strong market push into $10, Regal Power proved all too good in the All Star Mile and gave loyal readers of this column plenty to cheer about.
Punters who backed all eight horse racing tips from last week's edition at the time of publication pulled in 20% Profit on Turnover.
Once again punters have been active early on Golden Slipper day markets, with a number of key betting moves featured below.
Mornington has also been targeted by early shoppers and looks to hold significant betting opportunities for punters.
Mornington Tips
Too Good Too Hard
Resumes and loves this 1200m distance, having notched up three victories from three attempts.
She was excellent last start at Flemington in Group 3 company, when rounding out the prep with a close up 5 of 13 behind the very smart Tofane and Pippie.
That form should be strong enough to win here back to a benchmark 78. If she is ready to go fresh, she looks great odds to follow.
Chuck A Luck
Ex-Kiwi who showed enough in NZ (Group 3 placed) to warrant a trip to Australia.
He had plenty of excuses last start when he was wide throughout at Sandown, and still fought hard to finish a close third.
Although this looks slightly harder, he certainly has the ability to mix it with the opposition in this race. With even luck in the run, the three-year-old gelding should figure in the finish.
Just Benjamin
Has blinkers applied for the first time, which could propel him to the next level.
This horse is stacked with ability and can be forgiven for his last start fourth at Caulfield, where he was caught wide and forced to overexert throughout the run.
With the favourable low draw in gate 4, he can bounce back to winning form here with the run of the race.
Prophet’s Thumb
Arrives first-up and does enjoy racing fresh (3:1-1-0).
She has a touch of class and wasn’t out of place in Group 2 company last preparation, where she was only 1.4 lengths off the winner.
The trainer change to the Anthony Freedman camp must be noted. A new change of tactics and heightened motivations can often prove to have beneficial results.
If she can settle positively from the tricky gate 9, she will be mustering plenty late in the run.
Rosehill Tips
Cosmic Force
Was heavily backed to win at Randwick last start, when placing second behind Villami.
He recorded some of the best race sectionals of the entire day last time out, and should strip fitter for this second-up performance.
The stable also have him entered in the Group 1 Galaxy and if they come to this lesser target, he should simply win. Yes.
Gayatri
Was held up and never really got clear last start at Randwick, when finishing 8 of 11 over 1600m.
She jumps up to 1900m for this which will suit, and from the good barrier 5 draw she should receive a dream run midfield with cover.
The Waller stable must have a high opinion of the five-year-old mare out of Pierro to plunge her into this grade.
I expect her to take vast improvement from the first-up effort. Include.
Shadow Hero
Charged late from a long way back in the Randwick Guineas, where he got up right on the line.
The extra distance is perfect and once more, he is likely to race well back in the field with cover.
With any decent tempo present, expect him to simply unleash hell late to collar them in again.
Anjana
Was an enormous run in the Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield last start, on a day when it was very hard to make ground against the severe leader bias.
She draws wide out in gate 12, however tracking to the outside part of the track can often be an advantage at this late stage of the day,
The stable are lethal when they bet and if further support comes on race day, it would pay to follow.
