Best plays on Golden Slipper Day

Rosehill Gardens hosts a cracking nine-race card on Saturday, highlighted by the $3.5 million Golden Slipper.
The Busuttin & Young trained Tagaloa has opened the $5 favourite in a wide-open betting race.
With sunshine predicted for the remainder of the week in Sydney, the track is likely to improve to a Good 4 with the rail out 3m the entire circuit.
At this set-up, the track generally plays fair. However over the tight-turning Rosehill sprint trips, expect horses racing on-pace to hold the key.

Rosehill Race 3 Tip #2 Greysful Glamour $5.00
The Group Three Epona Stakes is a wide-open betting affair, but I believe the race lacks depth and contains only a handful of chances.
The Mark Newnham trained mare is coming back from a problem riddled run at Flemington last start and can bounce back to winning form here.
She won well when first-up at Caulfield, improving on a somewhat poor record when running fresh.
She comes into this race reaching peak fitness and now third-up, the rise in distance to 1900m is ideal.
Barrier nine is perfect for this girl. She can cruise across under her own steam and run the race to suit out in front.
Rachel King gains the ride and the last time she was aboard, she torched her rivals with a six-length all the way win at Moonee Valley.
With an improving track and a favourable speed map, she will prove difficult to run down out in front.
Rosehill Race 4 Tip #1 Avilius $3.90
The first Group One on the card is the Ranvet Stakes, which looks a three-horse race.
The Godolphin owned galloper has a class edge on his rivals and is lining up at his fourth Group One this prep.
He finished within two lengths in the C.F Orr Stakes at Caulfield first-up, before running a slashing fourth behind Te Akau Shark in the Chipping Norton Stakes at Randwick.
His sectionals that day were very good, with only him and Te Akau Shark cracking 33 seconds for the final 600m.
He then put in a solid performance in the Australian Cup at Flemington last start, which will have him in peak fitness for his fourth-up run.
With a record of three wins from three starts at the track, the return to Rosehill Gardens is a significant plus.
Jockey Hugh Bowman can sit within striking distance in the small field and I expect the class galloper to prevail.
