A field of 14 three-year-old's line up for their share of a cool $1 million in the Arrowfield Sprint over the Randwick 1200m.

Early favourite Classique Legend faces his toughest test to date, stepping up from a listed race to a Group Two.

The Chris Waller trained Zousain has promised punters the world but delivered an atlas this prep, and will be looking to redeem himself here.

Early betting has been quiet, with the only notable market move coming for Zousain who is in a roll from $8 to $7.

Horse Racing Key Runners

#1 Zousain $8.00 > $7.00

His second to Sunlight in the Coolmore Stud Stakes and second to The Autumn Sun in the Golden Rose last Spring, speaks volumes for his ability.

This preperation hasn't gone to plan however.

He did plenty wrong first-up at Caulfield and then pulled up lame in the Newmarket Handicap, both forgive runs.

In positive signs, he returns home to Sydney to line-up against his own age group and gets James McDonald to ride.

Look for him to sit in the back half of the field off a hot tempo and fly over the top late.

#2 Encryption $6.00

Has drawn well in barrier three and will improve back to his own age and on a drier surface.

All four runs this prep have been full of merit, but unfortunately for punters he's failed to register a win.

His record at Randiwck of 3:0-0-0 is a huge concern and on that alone, he looks hard to have at the $6.

#7 Classique Legend $4.60

Won a maiden on the Kensington track three starts ago, then followed that up with a six-length win in a BM70.

His last start third in the Darby Munro was impressive, given he was caught wide the entire trip on a Heavy track.

With even luck he would have won, but bookies have factored that into his price.

He meets some high-quality gallopers here and will have plenty of company up on the speed.

He's definately capable of winning, but with all things considered he looks well under the odds.

#8 Baller $13.00

Won well first-up, then offered little second-up when well beaten by Prophet's Thumb.

His last start effort in The Galaxy was only fair.

The wide draw doesn't do him any favours and I suspect he'll be exposed big time here. No thanks!

#10 Trope $8.50

This lightly raced colt has plenty of upside, but will need to jump out of the ground to win at only his third career start.

He'll be well suited with plenty of pace on up front and can finish in the first half of the field.

#11 Avantage $4.80

This Kiwi won her lead up in nice style, drops 2.5kg and gets back to her own age.

She has drawn perfectly in barrier five and is likely to take a sit just off the leaders.

She ticks plenty of boxes and with seven wins from eight starts, there is no way you can leave her out.

The $4.80 looks a touch short, but she is a genuine contender.

#13 Prophet's Thumb $16.00

Didn't go a yard on the Heavy track at her last start and should be assessed on her Fireball win two starts back.

Getting back on to a drying Randwick surface is a huge plus and if they go mad in front, she'll be flying home late.

The price is right with this filly, she looks a genuine blow out chance.

Many punters follow every tip posted by media tipsters without considering the real indicators of their opinion. As media organisations often require their racing experts to provide tips in every race, it's their best bets that hold the key to their actual betting decisions.
