9/3/19 Horse racing tips from early market moves

Pro money trails revealed
The quality of racing at this time of year is exceptional and this Saturday has seen plenty of money flowing for key runners in both Melbourne and Sydney.
This week’s column features a reliable odds on favourite and a number of longer priced runners that create plenty of interest.
Our model has identified the below selections as early market moves that have resulted from genuine smart money. A further push in betting closer to jump would create extreme confidence.
Flemington tips from early market moves
King of Yulong
Intriguing runner who arrives in Australia following a Group 1 midfield finish over 1400m at Ireland's famed Curragh racecourse.
Have to respect the class and he must be showing the stable plenty to warrant this support.
Just need a further push in betting close to jump, to be absolutely sure. If that comes confidence rises even higher. Yes.
Greyworm
Jumped as a clear odds-on favourite at Moonee Valley last start when he didn’t have the best get away before going down narrowly at the finish (0.2 lengths).
No doubt he is well above average and can easily atone for the defeat last time out.
The rider is likely to carve across early from the outside draw and if Dunn can slot in outside the leader or one back, he will be awfully hard to beat.
Thunder Cloud
Won well last start when beating two smart ones at Flemington over 1600m (Antah and Mr Money Bags).
He steps up to 2000m here and with a good record at the distance (3:1-0-2), there is no reason why he won't run the trip right out.
Craig Williams is a key booking and he usually has first pick of the Melbourne fields. Yes.
Angelic Ruler
Is building a strong SP profile where she has been heavily backed all the way through in recent times.
Comes via a traditional lead-up in the Angus Armanasco Stakes, where she was very brave to finish a close 2 of 9 after doing it tough out wide.
Given any luck this week she is sure to be in the finish for this.
Can go one better.
Randwick tips from early market moves
Sweet Scandal
Has had a successful campaign this time in claiming two wins from five attempts.
Although she could only manage a 5 of 12 finish last start in the Group 2 Triscay, the form around that race is enormous and this event looks much easier.
She is now rock hard fit and holds a fitness advantage against many of her first-up rivals.
Could pull their pants down. Yes.
Tenley
Is yet to taste defeat following two impressive wins at Randwick (one on the Kensington surface).
The stable connections love a bet and with a large staff presence, the word usually leaks out of Godolphin at a rapid rate.
That appears to be the case here and she must be training the house down at home to warrant the support.
Gets back and charges home late to go very close in this.
Bellevue Hill
Is likely to lead these from a mid-draw and could stack them mid-race for a breather.
He comes out of the Black Opal Preview at Canberra where he brained them by 5 lengths. Whilst that form would usually not be good enough here, it was the manner in which he won that excites.
No doubting he can be competitive against the top shelf 2yo’s.
Redzel
Has nothing left to prove and as usual will sit on the speed and be very hard to get past.
He has had the two trials coming into this which will have him fit enough to absorb the pressure inside the final 200m
Whilst a few of his rivals will challenge for the lead, he has the ability to take a sit if needed with the likely prospect of landing the coveted one out one back position.
Money suggests he's ready to rumble.
