Hunter hits his mark

 AAP

We told you last week that Mark Hunter tips well at Sandown and didn't he deliver for punters on Saturday.

He steered his followers into 4 winners on the 10 race card, including Viridine at juicy $8.00 odds.

All of those punters who subscribe to his premium Saturday racing package and staking plan which you can access here, went home with a tidy 34% profit on turnover (POT).

That made it three profitable Saturdays from the last four for the popular Melbournian.

When it comes to Victorian racing, there really isn't many better.

The ex-Aussie Rules player is Victorian through and through, and should always be on the top of your list when looking for an accurate tipster in and around Melbourne.

In even better news for punters, Hunter's tipping statistics at the venue for Saturday's Victorian metropolitan meeting stack up better than most.

If you check out our horse racing leaderboard, you will see that he has yielded 11% POT at Ballarat over the 10 years which his tips have been recorded at theGreatTipOff.com.

Punters who have backed each of his selections at the popular Victorian town with $100 win bets have an extra $2,690 in their wallet.

Mark Hunter's horse racing tips review at Sandown 16th November 2019:

Race 3: #6 California Salto (Medium) and #2 Xilong (Medium)

Hunter got the day off to a winning start.

Xilong sped out to a comfortable lead before kicking away from them in the long home straight.

The punters were spot on with this filly. She started at $2.50 odds.

Race 4: #2 Gold Fields (Medium) and #1 Widgee Turf (Medium)

This result was meant to be.

In Stephen Baster's last ever ride as a jockey, he piloted Gold Fields to victory.

This was a cracking result for Hunter and his followers.

Gold Fields paid a handy $5.20.

Race 5: #6 Thermal Current (Medium) and #3 Easy Eddie (Low) and #4 Viridine (Low)

Hunter made it three winners on the trot after Viridine had too much toe for them.

This Godolphin sprinter got home at a good price too, paying $8 on SP.

Race 6: #5 Odeon (Medium)

Hunter's sole selection in Race 6 ran a solid race, finishing less than a length behind the winner.

It wasn't enough to earn a placing though.

Race 7: #4 Heart Of Puissance (Medium)

In the Guineas, Heart Of Puissance couldn't have been braver.

She was headed, before fighting back and driving at the line to finish third.

Pretty Brazen got the win.

Race 8: #5 Southern France (Medium) and #1 Humidor (Medium)

In the feature race of the day, Hunter tipped the winner for his followers.

Southern France came with a big run down the outside to get the chocolates.

He paid $3.10.

Race 9: #1 Noire (Medium)

Noire was game with the top weight but couldn't get the win here.

Race 10: #4 Setting Sail (Medium) and #3 Plain Ciel (Low)

Setting Sail was the big disappointment of the day.

The highly-fancied import finished second to Pacodali.
