Tipster [Ep6] 13 May 2021

Doomben tips, best bets, track watch and more

Another jam-packed episode, where we take a special focus on Brisbane racing for the upcoming Winter Carnival.

After looking at the horse racing tipsters going well at Doomben, we speak to one of them in Blair "Gibbo" Gibson, to get his thoughts on the Doomben track and jockeys to follow.

We put some historical Doomben data under the microscope to try and predict how Saturday will play, and then focus on a couple of tipsters who are having success with their best bets. As always, Michael rounds out the program with his best horse racing tip of the week Mick's Moral.

Doomben Experts

After a special delivery from SKY Racing's Michael Charge, we take a glance at the best Doomben tipsters over the past 365 days. Coming out on top is pro punter JustWins thanks to a 50% POT.

Then there's four media experts firing with their Doomben tips: Adam Williams from Best Bets, Tony Brassel from SKY Racing, theGreatTipOff's resident Brisbane expert Rick Morris, and Blair Gibson from Racing.com. All have placed 200+ tips and are showing a double digit Profit on Turnover.

Streaker of the Week: Blair Gibson

With a profit in every month of 2021 so far, "Gibbo" is our streaker of the week.

We got Gibbo on the phone to chat about his Doomben record and what to look out for when punting at the track.

Gibbo highlights the tight-turning nature of the course, and the importance of speed maps and avoiding wide barriers. Gibbo then talks us through some of the jockeys to follow across the Winter Carnival, and find out who he's keen on for the Doomben 10,000.

Doomben Track Watch

We pull up some historical data to try and predict how the Doomben track will play on Saturday. The data suggests that it will be a day for the favs.

Best Bet Bangers

In this segment, Michael and Damian talk about the importance of following a tipster's best bets.

Chris Nelson is the first tipster in focus. If you doubled your stake on Nelson's best bets over the past 30 days, you would have received double the amount of cash profit.

Tony Brassel is another case in point. Over the past 30 days, if you bet with a double stake on Brassel's best bets, three-times the amount of cash profit was coming your way.

Mick's Moral

This week, Michael reckons Eduardo will get the job done in the Doomben 10,000.
