They come head-to-head in Race 4 at Rosehill, the Group 3 Pago Pago Stakes.

He won very well fresh and was strong through the line running a quality last 600m when beating Eneeza. That horse ran earlier and ran well in the Blue Diamond.

He himself was below his best in Blue Diamond when too keen?

Mick Gannon - Race 4 #7 Gatsby $2.30

Sydney's newest boom horse and delivered in spades first up.

He beat the talented Roselyn's Star at Canterbury, with a gap to third Silmarillion.

Roselyn's Star has since destroyed a field at the midweeks and Silmarillion was a touch off Erno's Cube at Randwick.

His figures were strong, and he is a justified favourite.
