The market has missed the young gun

The Sunshine Coast gets it's first taste of black type racing for the year with the Hollindale Stakes, after the meeting was shifted from the Gold Coast due to track conditions.
The Hollindale is a Group 2 race which has often been a great lead in event for the Doomben Cup.
Key formlines are created from this event and has a strong honour roll of victors, including three time winner Zaaki and Might and Power.
QLD form analyst and in-form tipster John Steinmetz has found a couple of ripping plays in the feature event.

Track Conditions
The track is currently rated a Heavy 8.
With further rain expected over the coming days it will remain this way come race time.
This will suit those true mudlarks as it turns the 1800m event into a staying test.
Speed Map
Deny Knowledge (13) will use his abundance of gate speed to find the lead.
He will be followed by Just Folk (5) and Naval College (9), with the latter getting a sweet run up the inside gate.
In testing conditions, don't be surprised to see horses happily sitting three deep the trip in search of the better ground.
They will be scattered in the straight and the winner could come from anywhere.
Pay attention to any early track bias that may be present.
The Favourite
It was an absolute fill up for supporters of Huetor last start when he put pay to a field in Sydney at $16.00.
He has now come up much shorter and it will take a brave man to take that price considering his SP profile over the past few months.
It’s a drop back in distance, and there was a sweet ride set up for him last start up the inside.
This is a much harder task.
Both Huetor and Kovalica draw 13 and 14 respectively which might push them out of contention to get into the money come Saturday.
Watch Huetor win the Group 3 JRA Plate at Randwick.
Tips
Naval College $15.00
One of the younger horses in the race, Annabel Neasham has him primed for this task, and she knows how to win the Hollindale.
Look for him to get a peach of a ride up the inside and sit on speed.
Once they hit the top of the straight he can shoot through and claim the prize.
He’s itching to put one of these bigger races on his resume, and he can stack up against the rest.
Just Folk $7.00
It was a great run just a week ago, finding the line strongly in the Hawkesbury Gold Cup.
His preparation indicates that this will be his grand final and at peak fitness.
A jockey change was imminent, with Nash Rawiller taking the ride on Kovalica.
Mark Zahra returns from suspension and will be ready for the task.
Watch Just Folk win the Hawkesbury Gold Cup
Kovalica $4.40
Loves the Queensland tracks, winning the QLD derby last time he ventured north.
His run in the Queen Elizabeth last start left questions on him over the 2000m, however a decent 5th and a good trial shows positive signs ahead of this race.
Chris Waller doesn’t come up the QLD for a haircut, so I'm expecting a strong showing.
Unspoken $35.00
The last three starts have been quite unlucky, whether it’s an awkward jump, or a terribly heavy track, I think his form doesn’t indicate his talent.
Keep in mind he is a Five Diamonds winner and won four straight races between Randwick and Rosehill.
The draw is favourable and I can see him sneaking into the money.
