Saturday Horse Racing Tips at Randwick & Caulfield 18/10/25

It doesn’t get much bigger than this.

Two racing heavyweights, the Caulfield Cup and The Everest, headline what’s shaping as one of the best punting days of the year.

In Melbourne, the time-honoured Caulfield Cup takes centre stage.

First run in 1879, it’s a race steeped in history and one that continues to define champions.

 

Up in Sydney, it’s a much newer phenomenon.

The Everest, now officially a Group 1 and boasting a cool $20 million prize purse, making it the world’s richest turf race.

All eyes will be on Hong Kong superstar Ka Ying Rising, who’s trained by Aussie expat David Hayes and heads the market around $1.80.

But with rain in the forecast, the door is open for an upset and there’s plenty of value across both cards if you’re willing to take a swing.

The undercards are elite too, with The King Charles III Stakes at Randwick over the mile and the Thousand Guineas for the three-year-old fillies at Caulfield.

Throw in Group 2s, 3s and Listed events across both tracks, and it’s a true feast for form students.

 

Confidence is high again this week and why wouldn’t it be?

Add in Justadeel ($5.50) and Age of Sail ($3.60), and punters were laughing all the way to the bar.
