What a terrific program that presents punters at Morphettville this Saturday.
You can tell the Adelaide Carnival is looming large with a stack of Victorian border hopers scattered amongst most races.

Best Bets for Morphettville by Heath Pope
Race 2 #11 Pure Aqua $3.50
This Richard and Chantelle Jolly trained filly went around totally unwanted by the market on debut, when thrown in at the deep end against Listed company.
Her performance however was no indication of her starting price, being awfully unlucky to not be in the finish.
She had to check off heels at the 250m when starting to get into her work and once she got clear running hit the line nicely.
The winner of that event looks very promising and to be only 2.3L behind is a good form line for a race of this nature.
She retains the services of Jake Toeroek while drawing ideally to do no work down on the rails.
With even luck and natural improvement second up I expect her to give this a big shake.
The favourite on the other hand, Grinzinger Love, has drawn awkwardly out wide and faces a big mountain for success.

Race 4 #2 Thirsty Guest $3.10
Genuine two horse race between this 4YO gelding and the 3YO, Air Assault.
Despite Air Assault appearing to again enjoy all the favours up front, the 1.5kg difference between both horses just isn’t enough.
Thirsty Guest was so brave in defeat behind the talented Meridius when having his first attempt this campaign over the mile.
He will find this easier and it won't surprise me to see jockey Jacob Opperman sit closer in the run here.
He is capable of producing the fastest final sectionals in this race and it will simply require a more mindful steer to get the chocolates.
