Keen to be with Caballus in the first race of the day.

It’s a cracking Rosehill card and I expect this impressive 3YO colt to get the punters off to a flyer.

He was superb last start in a hot race running down the group class runners Estriella and Shaken.

The overall time was smart and he finds himself in a weaker contest here.

The gate is the big tick meaning he can camp the leaders back rising to 1300m.

Very keen.

Rosehill Race 5 #8 Tristate $7.00

I was with this 5YO gelding last start when he was disappointed over this track and trip.

On that occasion, Jason Collett gave him a peach to land leaders back.

He gave every indication he would push through and charge to the line only to plug away.

However, I don't want to pen him just yet.

He is only a small horse and carrying 59.5kg set him a mammoth task to win.

The gelding now plummets in the weights to 54kg, Collett sticks and he draws soft in barrier 3.

I have him landing the leaders back and with a clear run at them can grind them down.
