Race 8 #6 Fangirl $2.20

Fangirl is a proven weight-for-age (WFA) performer who excels first-up with a record of 7:3-1-2.

She’s also very comfortable at this track and distance (6:3-1-1) and seems to have returned in great shape.

James McDonald choosing her over Via Sistina suggests she's come back well, especially following last prep’s injury.

She’s best placed to fire here, while her main rivals have their eyes on longer Spring targets.

I've priced her at $2.10 and I anticipate bookies will risk her closer to jump time, possibly pushing her odds towards $2.50.

 

Race 4 #5 Miss You Ella $17.00

Fifth-up and on the verge of a win, Miss You Ella has been building nicely this prep.

She caught the eye two starts ago running solidly against the pattern, then last start she was held up late and should have finished much closer.

If she had, she'd be at single-figure odds here.

With a jockey upgrade to Zac Lloyd, she’s primed to offer great value at big odds and will no doubt give a huge sight.
