Narrandera Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets 22/8/23

Narrandera hosts Tuesday's abandoned Albury meeting.

We go from an expected Heavy 10 Albury track to a Good 4 Narrandera surface that should play beautifully with the rail in the true position.

We have sourced tips from three NSW jets who are in ripping form.

Narrandera Tip from Neil Evans

Race 3 #6 Swift Enuff $4.00

This lightly raced 4YO mare resumes for just her second start and can hit the ground running.

Swift Enuff, a daughter of reliable speed sire Rich Enuff and based in the Gary Colvin yard at Wagga, returns in a moderate Maiden Hcp over 1000m.

She looks very well placed from the transferred Albury meeting, drawn inside, and the best-weighted runner in the field after the jockey's 3kg allowance.

Swift Enuff weakened out on debut at home back in early February, but she's been given plenty of time to develop.

There's less depth in this sprint, and her style is more suited to a smaller and on-speed advantaged track.

I expect her to park right behind the speed from this draw and be strong getting home from the 300m.

Narrandera Tip from Mick Gannon

Race 5 #7 Southern Highlands $41.00

This is one runner who should take huge benefit from the switch from Albury.

This son of Capitalist has Good track form and should be well-suited getting off rain-affected tracks third-up.

He's a winner at the mile and finds a race where he can settle forward of midfield and give a huge sight.

Looks like a great each-way play.

Narrandera Tip from Luke Hovhanesian

Race 7 #9 Spinosaurus $5.00

A genuine speedster who is set to get plenty of favours here launching from barrier 1.

With apprentice Holly Durnan aboard, this 4YO gelding gets in with only 56kg and can run his rivals into the ground.

At his past few runs he has been caught in hectic speed battles up front.

This time around there are no rivals who will want to match it with him with their big weights.

He should lead for fun and kick off the turn for a convincing win.
