After having ‘Ginger ‘N’ Pink’ salute at $5.50 when first tipped last week at Caulfield, attention turns to The Valley this Saturday with a fresh set of best bets.
A massive 10-race program takes place and it is a very competitive and open one, with only two favourites under the price of $3.
The track is currently rated as a Good 4 and with fine weather forecast, there is a chance it will get into the Good 3 range.
The running rail is in the true position for the entire circuit and this historically sees it favourable to be drawn inside barriers and be up on-pace.
Cody continues to nail his best bets at a good clip.

Moonee Valley Race 6 #8 Yellow Sam $4.00
Handy 4yo mare resuming here for the Lindsey Smith stable and has an excellent record first-up (4:2-2-0).
After winning comfortably first-up at Donald last preparation, she went on to mix it with some terrific horses in strong races at Caulfield including the likes of ‘Vivianne’, ‘Nunthorpe’ and ‘Frigid’.
She draws perfectly in barrier 1 and should get the sweet run of the race just behind the pace.
She has only had 8 starts and has yet to miss a placing.
I’m expecting that she can add a 4th career win to her record here.
Moonee Valley Race 8 #1 Glentaneous $3.10
Got a deserved victory last start, which was his first here in Australia, and he can make it back-to-back here.
He relished the rise in distance to the 2400m and the extra 100m will not faze him, considering how strongly he went through the line last time out.
Top jockey Damian Lane sticks for the ride, who is in flying form with 13 winners from his last 50 rides, and has a good association with this horse now.
Trainers Anthony & Sam Freedman have not only been in fantastic recent form (12 winners from their last 50 runners), but boast an outstanding record at Moonee Valley with a 27% winning strike rate.
Should prove tough to beat once again.
