Race 6 #2 Ebony King $2.70

With the scratching of Oceans One, this looks Ebony King's race to lose.

It was a typical 'ballsy' ride from Nash Rawiller on this 5YO gelding last start at Canterbury, when using a lot of the track to find the front.

He nearly pulled it off, running a close second to the talented Hanau.

He now comes to Warwick Farm and finds a race with a great race shape in his favour.

He can sit just off the front runners or take up the running and Nash retaining the ride is a good push.

Race 8 #1 Russian Roni $7.00

The Waterhouse camp once again team up with Amy Mclucas with a higher rater, getting him down to a manageable weight.

We saw it last week with Gold Revolver and I am expecting similar things here.

Looks to get a good control of the race from the soft draw and returns off two longer trials, getting good fitness into his legs.

While he hasn't won first up before, this is easily one of the easiest contests he has faced.

Looks the value play of the day.
