Wagga Race 1 #2 Ghost Walker $1.70

Although short in the market, Ghost Walker looks to be the standout of the day.

His last-start performance at Goulburn was highly encouraging, finishing second behind a talented galloper in Highway Strip, who went around as a heavily backed $1.65 favourite.

The margin to third was a significant 4.8 lengths, reinforcing that the top two runners were in a class of their own that day.

With JVO jumping aboard, this looks like a straightforward jump-and-lead scenario.

If he can dictate terms upfront, I can't see him not being in the finish.

 

Wagga Race 2 #5 Ken'ker $3.80

Ken'ker put in a strong effort last start, looking the winner before being narrowly beaten into third by just 0.5 lengths.

This time, he finds himself in a slightly easier race, which should suit him perfectly.

Look for him to land on-speed and be tough to run down.

With that last run under his belt and a more favourable setup here, he will be very hard to beat and deserves strong consideration.
