Race 2 #3 Tokyo Run $4.40

Tokyo Run has shown strong form over this distance in the past, and his first up performance at Bathurst was more promising than it reads.

With Aaron Bullock aboard and a favourable barrier draw, he’s can settle in a great position in the run.

There is good speed in this race and if he gets a cart into the race he is going to be hard to hold out.

Race 5 #3 Paris Lad $5.00

This 4YO gelding is easily the most talented horse in this field, however as is a pattern throughout his short career, he can't draw a barrier.

When he drew barrier 2 on debut he romped home in a maiden by 1.8L and since then it has been barrier 7 of worse.

Hopefully the barrier isn't his undoing this time around, but with senior jockey Ashley Morgan in the saddle he should be afforded every chance.

The 1300m distance looks ideal second up and with an ounce of luck early should be in the finish here.

Lismore Best Bet and Tips from Luke Hovhanesian

Race 2 #8 Perri Lass $2.80

Perri Lass really hit the line hard at Muswellbrook a fortnight ago, and she’ll relish the step up to 2100m for the first time.

Trained by Kris Lees, she struggled on the Good 4 surface that day, but her dominant win at Taree prior hints that she’ll thrive with some give in the ground.

Andrew Mallyon has a perfect draw in barrier one and if he can find clear running, Perri Lass looks well placed to secure her second career win.

Race 4 #12 Wheeper $3.00

Chris Anderson’s promising gelding Wheeper will make his debut after showing strong form in three barrier trials.

Having comfortably won two out of three jump-outs, the three-year-old heads into this first-up assignment with plenty of confidence.

Though drawn wide in barrier 12, if Michael Hellyer can secure cover early, expect Wheeper to storm down the middle of the track and push for a win.
