Randwick Race 4 #4 Agita $2.80

A key booking of jockey Adam Hyeronimus and the addition of blinkers first-time suggest that Agita will be ridden more forward this time.

He performed very well in a tougher race last start, where he went against the track pattern and immediately earned a spot in the black book.

While he may need a good steer or a touch of luck during the run, Agita is a solid $2.00 chance.

With a gem of a ride or a fortunate break, he’ll be extremely tough to beat.

 

Randwick Race 5 #6 Makena $7.50

Makena ran into 4th place last start at Canterbury, battling against the track pattern on a day where the rail was hot.

She’s sure to improve from that run and is a winner over this track and trip when 2nd-up last prep, so she’s well-positioned to repeat.

The blinkers go on for the first time, James McDonald sticks with her and she’s drawn perfectly.
