Hong Kong racing is back to Happy Valley tonight with a 9 event card on the “A” Course.

Three jockeys are fully booked with Zac Purton, Karis Teetan and Matthew Chadwick all having 9 rides.

Zac Purton, who won a G3 yesterday at Flemington, is going to ride 3 horses for trainer John Size. This is a lethal combination so keep an eye on any market movements.

Happy Valley Race 5 #8 Strongest Boy $3.50

This lightly raced 4YO is trained by David Hayes and we are just starting to see his best.

Now third up from a spell he is set to put in a peak performance and the booking of Zac Purton adds plenty of confidence.

Looking back to his last preparation, he only had one start at the city circuit.

He was far from disgraced finishing second behind the in-form D Star.

Since returning from his break he has had two starts over 1400m and 1600m, but the Sha Tin rivals have been too strong.

It is interesting to see him moving back to the Valley again this time, but he gets the perfect set up in a race with plenty of speed.

He just needs a clear run at them to finish over the top.

Happy Valley Race 6 #1 A Americ Te Specso $3.00

A Americ Te Specso is a two-time Class 4 winner over 1200m at Happy Valley and he can run well even carrying a heavy weight.

This John Size-trained gelding had an impressive run last time out over 1000m, finishing 4th even though the distance was not ideal.

It showed that he is very competitive at the current rating and he can win in a Class 4 race when the distance suits him.

He will be racing over his best trip tonight and with Zac Purton on board from gate 4, he is a great chance.
