What a Legend

There are only two more weeks until one of Hong Kong's biggest racing events on the calendar.
The International Jockey's Championship is set to take centre stage with the world's best heading to Sha Tin and Happy Valley.
As we gear up for that, we have a cracking meeting at The Valley this Wednesday with a strong 8 race card set for decision.
During this meeting, this year's Hong Kong International Race runners will be announced, including the final list of all participants.
Zac Purton, Karis Teetan, Vincent Ho and one more jockey will be representing Hong Kong.
There is one last seat at the table and it sets the scene for a ripping battle tonight between Brenton Avdulla, Lyle Hewitson, Andrea Atzeni and Luke Ferraris.
I have found two plays for this meeting set to run great races.

Happy Valley Race 1 #4 Nordic Combined $5.00
It's quite an interesting opener for tonight’s meeting.
Half of this field finished within the placings at their last start.
Nordic Combined is coming off a strong win over this track and distance.
This Sebring gelding joined Chris So stable in the new season, racing off a career-low mark and kickstarted his campaign with a dominant 4L victory.
It was an eye-catching performance and the ride was even better by Alexis Badel. He settled last and had to weave his way through to storm home over the top.
The draw for this race is similar and it's good to have the same jockey on board.
If he repeats his last start effort he is likely to go back to back despite carrying 10 pounds more.
Happy Valley Race 6 #1 Jumbo Legend $6.50
Jumbo Legend will have his second start this season under Vincent Ho.
The horse will carry 135 lbs but the top weight is not a big concern for him as he won under 133 lbs before.
Last time out he made his seasonal debut over 1000m, which was too short for him, but he still managed to run third.
He was just beaten by 0.5L despite not having a clear run.
Stepping up to 1200m is better for this 5YO since he is a 2-time winner over this distance, gate 8 is also not bad for this back marker.
Caspar Fownes always supports Vincent Ho and this partnership will have 4 runners for this meeting.
Jumbo Legend is definitely one of the best winning hopes.
