Race 2 #1 Cooma Hut $3.10

I'm happy to side with this untapped gelding in a vastly open field.

He wasn't far away at Moree on debut and considering that was off a single trial, he will benefit greatly from that run.

He will enjoy getting out over a bit further and with the aid of the inside draw should be able to settle closer to the speed.

Patrick Scorse takes the ride and with a touch of luck can find a gap on the bend and shoot through to claim his maiden victory.

 

Race 3 #2 Red Duster $2.25

The Lou Mary stable is lethal with their placements and looks to have found the perfect race for this 4YO mare.

She has been good on heavy tracks at her two starts this campaign.

Now third up and at peak fitness she can show her best.

She is aided by the inside draw of one and gets Mikalya Weir in the saddle who has a good relationship with the horse.
