Race 1 #4 Luna Field $2.25

This 3YO deep field colt has an abundance of early speed and second up should be ready to fire on all cylinders.

I was surprised when they decided to ride him with cover on debut and he paid the price, struggling to find clear air to run on.

From barrier 1 and in the small field, I'd be shocked if they don't put the handlebars down and try to run their opposition into the ground.

Tommy Berry goes in the saddle and over the 1000m dash at Gosford he should be too zippy for his rivals.

 

Race 6 #8 Ausbred Mimosa $4.00

This 4YO mare is ready to show her best over the 1200m.

She has been given a freshen up after two tough runs and importantly draws well here to land in the moving line with cover.

Jay Ford sticks in the saddle and continues his good relationship with her.

With a positive ride and some clear air down the centre of the Gosford track, she will be very hard to hold out.
