This 4YO gelding gets the perfect conditions here to show his best.

He resumes off a dominant Scone trial win and draws soft to find the front with ease.

The small field should ensure he can dictate terms to rivals behind him and he will have first choice at the A ground in the straight.

New trainer Cameron Crockett will have him primed for a big performance here.

He just needs to handle the heavy track and will be hard to beat.

 

Race 6 #2 Midnight Dream $3.80

Local 5YO Midnight Dream drops sharply in class here and will be at peak fitness fourth up.

He ran well when fresh here and finished strongly when he got well back over 1100m.

He then competed in a tougher Saturday Highway grade at Randwick, holding his own behind one of NSW's more exciting gallopers.

Now back at home on a 9-day turnaround and a shorter trip, he's poised to claim his fourth career win at his 27th start.
