He finds a strong field but has the talent to measure up.

On career debut he badly missed the jump and had to race at the rear of the field.

This is against his normal racing pattern and he paid the price finishing last in a strung out field.

He was spelled straight away and sent back to the stables to fix this.

He showed great improvement at his preparation start at Queanbeyan, landing in the first 4 runners.

While he couldn't bridge the margin, he ran on well to finish only 2L off the winner.
