Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets for Randwick Kensington 25/10/23

Midweek racing returns to the Kensington for the second week straight. 

Plenty of talented runners hit the track trying to kickstart a Spring campaign in style.

Luke Hovhanesian has just dropped two of his best bets for the day below.

 

 

Randwick Kensington Tips from Luke Hovhanesian

 

Race 5 #10 Matusalem $9.00

I'm keen to be with this 3YO colt who disappointed last start at Kembla Grange.

He was caught towards the rear of the field, which is against his regular racing pattern.

He had to shift off heels twice and was caught flat footed as a result when the sprint went on.

It was a complete forgive effort and if you go on his two previous runs he is in good form.

He won at Hawkesbury in style beating the talented Ince Trail and ran 3rd at this track behind Rock Empire and Wild Flash.

He was one of the only horses to make ground that day against a savage leaders bias.

The rise in distance here to 1800m looks perfect and the soft draw only enhances his chances.

Can land in the first 6 and be very hard to beat.

 

 

Race 6 #12 Unstopabull $6.50

This talented 3YO gelding can surprise here at odds off some really strong formlines.

He was mighty impressive winning first up at Kembla, running on strongly on the turn.

Last start at Warwick Farm he ran 3rd behind Facile and Joliestar who have since both come out and franked the form.

He gets a good track and draws barrier 1, plus the booking of Tim Clark adds confidence.

If he jumps clean he can land in a more forward position than previous runs and be awfully hard to hold out in the straight.
