Kembla Grange hosts a 7 race program this Tuesday with the possibility of a very wet meeting.

The NSW coastline has copped a battering over the past two days and the forecast isn't brilliant.

The surface is currently a soft 6 but the track will see a likely downgrade.

Kembla Grange Race 2 #2 Nasdaq Dubai $3.50

This 4YO put in an impressive performance first up over this course and distance.

It was his first run in over a year and he did it in style.

He settled just off the leading pair before peeling off heels to storm home over the stop.

Jockey Lee Magorrian was on for the ride and sticks for this meeting as well.

From barrier 9 he will have a decision whether to push up outside the lead or drift into a midfield position with cover.

He has shown his versatility at the trials and a repeat performance of his first-up run will see him go close.

With the added race fitness he looks hard to go past.

 

Kembla Grange Race 3 #6 Huracanevo $4.40

This Rubick gelding hasn't had the luckiest of starts to his career.

First up at Randwick he got a mile back and ran on strongly once the race was over.

That was over 1200m, the same distance he tackles for this event.

Last start over the 1400m he was never settled, forced to race wide and rearward.

He finally draws an inside barrier and can kick up to land midfield with cover.

If he gets the gaps turning for home he has an electric turn of foot and can steam home over the top.
