Wagga and Lismore host respective Friday meetings with plenty of talented country horses set to hit the track.

Wagga has somehow managed to dodge the rain that has lashed NSW over the past week and has come up a good 4. 

The rail is out 5m from the 1400m to the winning post and true the remainder.

Lismore wasn't so lucky, with rain causing a heavy 8 surface.

The rail is out 2.5m from the 950m to the 300m, 1.5m from the 300m to the winning post and true the remainder.

It was another winning day yesterday from Luke Hovhanesian and he has just dropped his best plays for Friday racing.

 

 

Horse Racing Tips for Wagga

Race 3 #1 Allaboutroy $4.50

This 4YO gelding has been racing in some tough company across NSW recently.

He only knows one way and that is handle bars down, full steam ahead.

He excels at Wagga (5:2-2-1) and goes well on a good surface.

Jack Martin takes the reins for the first time and is a strong jockey who can get the best out of 'roy'.

 

Horse Racing Tips for Lismore

Race 3 #10 Barron $4.40

This former Victorian is now enjoying life in the NSW country, putting in a good effort fresh at Ballina.

He was first up on that occasion off no official trial and it was interesting to see where he was at.

Granted he was giving fitness to a lot of his rivals and racing over an unsuited 1000m distance, his 4th had a lot of merit to it.

He now strips fitter second up, rises to an ideal distance of 1310m and gets in light at the weights.

He should land in the moving line three pairs back and the heavy track should suit him being out of Sebring.

Can break his maiden tag here in a moderate field.
