Top racing kicks on as we charge towards the festive season.

It has become the normal on a Monday, with NSW hosting Australia's only two meetings.

At Bathurst, the track is rated a Good 4 and the rail is out 2m from the 1200m-350m with a cutaway in the straight.

While at Kempsey, runners are set to get dream conditions with a Good 4 surface and a true rail.

Race 2 #3 Outsmarted $3.60

This well-educated gelding looks set to run a bottler on debut.

He comes out of the G Ryan & S Alexiou camp and they are masters of getting horses to run brilliant first up.

He has trialed well at Rosehill around some smart types and won his latest hit out over 900m.

He gets Brandon Lerena in the saddle and the wide draw will give him time to push forward and sit outside the lead.

From there he just needs to control the tempo alongside race favourite No Second Thought to make it a sprint down the straight.

This 5YO mare is set to get the perfect run in transit under Braith Nock here.

She draws perfectly in barrier 3 and will land right up on pace.

She is going to thrive getting back onto a Good 4 surface (2:1-1-0), as her only career failures have come on wet decks.

First up at Wellington she ran 2nd behind Wilbury, who has since won a Class 2 highway at Rosehill.

Now 4th up she should be at peak fitness and can really put the pressure on Maz Kanata who looks unders at the current $1.80 quote.

This 4YO mare loves to run a placing, but hasn't been able to break through for her maiden victory.

That can all change for her with the perfect set up and under Matthew Mcguren.

She will land on pace around Kempsey, a track that will suit her perfectly and gets a Good 4 surface.

If she can control this race from the front she will be awfully hard to beat.
