Race 5 #15 Little Baia $17.00
This mare bolted in at Kembla last start after trainer Bjorn Baker changed up her tactics.
She led the field, controlled the tempo and kicked hard on the bend to win by 3.5 lengths.
Now reunited with Rachel King, she has dropped significantly in weight to 54kg which will help her replicate that last performance.
Barrier 2 should ensure she gets the run of the race and her fourth-up record is strong (3:2-0-0).
She looks well over the odds and with a few scratchings expected in this field, she could start in single figures by race time.
Race 9 #12 Mascaret $13.00
She should have won comfortably last start but was caught in the worst part of the track for the entire straight.
She was so brave to only go down 0.4L all things considered and can go one better here.
She drops in weight to 54kg and gets Zac Lloyd in the saddle, who is in great form.
From barrier 9, Zac can get her the perfect trail midfield with cover before charging home late.
Based on the form she has shown this campaign, she looks like a big price.
