His roughies are running better than the market suggests and he lines up another two who will thrive at Randwick.

Race 1 #10 Tardelli $15.00

This 2YO colt has trialed sensationally and looks to have come back further developed from his last campaign.

He has sat off his rivals in those hit outs and stormed home to claim back-to-back wins.

While these are only trials, he has shown a great desire to find the line and finds a moderate Winter 2YO crop to line up against here.

Regan Bayliss takes the reins and from barrier 10 will need a bit of luck to slot in.

However, on paper there is minimal pressure expected up front and he could press forward to slide across into a prominent position.

He has the talent and just needs to put it all together on raceday to be in the finish.

 

Race 4 #6 Hiawatha $11.00

I feel like this is a pretty straight forward each-way value bet.

This former UK trained gelding has been great at his past two starts at Gosford.

I'm not sure the Gosford track has suited his racing style, and Randwick will be right up his alley.

From barrier 5 he will land in an on speed position and his three previous runs will have primed him for the 2400m distance.

Chad Schofield takes over as rider and he has a lethal reputation when teaming up with Annabel Neasham.

With only 56kg on his back, he looks well placed to run a big race at an enticing price.
