Race 4 #5 Gold Bullion $14.00

I've been patiently waiting for the Waterhouse stable to push the button this campaign and race this 3YO gelding in a more forward position.

Now fourth up and nearing peak fitness, it wouldn't surprise me for this to be the race.

He has drawn perfectly in barrier 4 to land in the first few and Timmy Clark is the perfect match for this.

He handles all ground surfaces and now being further developed will put in a much stronger display over the 2000m.

He won at his only previous 4th up effort and I can't help to think that this race was circled as his grand final.

His formlines from this campaign are stacking up nicely including a second behind Zondee.

 

Race 5 #4 Rocketing By $41.00

This 6YO gelding is hard to catch at the best of the times, but I saw enough first up to indicate he is worth a play at huge odds.

He hung around the Rosehill turn and then railed like a greyhound, shooting back to the inside.

His best runs have always been with a smother along the rails, and he gets perfect conditions here second up.

This exact set up brought him success on Everest Day two years ago and while we are going a while back in the form guide, the field was very similar.

Front Page will make this race run at a true tempo and with a strung-up field, there should be no issues finding gaps in the straight. 

Look for him to be flashing home at them.
