This 5YO gelding is deserving of a victory after three brilliant runs in a row.

The formlines from his past few starts have really stacked up and he will enjoy the drop back to class 1 company.

While he has only tackled the 1400m once in his career, I thought it was his best run to date flying from an off speed position to just miss.

He is tactically versatile and the booking of regular apprentice William Stanley adds confidence, getting him down to the minimum weight.

The draw of barrier 5 gives him plenty of options depending how he jumps, and he looks well placed to finally breakthrough.

 

Race 7 #6 Weave That Web $34.00

I can't believe the price of this 6YO mare in the feature race of the day.

She is rock hard fit and has put together a brilliant preparation so far with some very strong form lines.

At the beginning of February, she ran a close up 3rd to Leica Storm who recently won a midweek Warwick Farm BM72.

Weave That Web then went on to win at her next start as a well supported favourite.

More recently she beat Blue Guitar ($5.00 in this race) by close to 2L when giving him 2kg.

Last start was a complete forgive when she got pestered throughout the race carrying 60kg and got caught flat footed on the turn.

She now enters here on the 1 week back up, plummets in the weights to 54kg and gets the services of Braith Nock who has a brilliant record on her.

She handles all track conditions and from barrier 7 will get a great run just off the pace.

If she hits the centre of the track she will be charging late.

Race 3 #2 Bo Bo Beware $4.50

The lethal combination of Alysha Collett and Richard Litt team up here on this talented gelding.

He has been given two easy trials and looks ready to fire first up.

I like him starting over the 1400m and the barrier draw of 5 will allow him to settle just off the speed.

Just needs the gaps to open in the straight to be flying home.
