Free Horse Racing Tips for Muswellbrook and Dubbo 15/1/24

Two NSW country meetings headline Monday racing with exciting fields both at Muswellbrook and Dubbo.

Luke Hovhanesian has landed on some best bets to help punters fill their pockets.

 

Muswellbrook Best Bet Tip from Luke Hovhanesian

 

Race 4 #1 Rura Penthe $6.00

Connections have been patient with this gelding with three spaced out runs.

Last start at Tamworth he drew barrier 11 and had no choice but to settle at the rear of the field.

The front runners dominated the race and he never stood a chance, but ran on well to finish midfield.

He now enters this contest 4th up, at peak fitness and gets Aaron Bullock in the saddle.

Throw in that he draws a good barrier as well and he should land much closer to the speed.

Just needs the breaks turning for home and can run on strongly.

 

Race 6 #2 Etched In Time $4.20

While I have a good opinion on the race favourite Wezza, I think the value in this race lies with the Richard and Will Freedman trained Etched In Time.

He was great on his career debut last preparation narrowly going down at Newcastle before poor manners cost him in future runs.

He was quickly spelled and has since trialled the house down, including beating Highness who has run second in the 2YO magic millions event.

The heavy track is a slight concern, but I suspect it will favour off-speed types and with the soft draw, plus Jon Van Overmeire in the saddle, he should get the perfect run throughout.

Looks like one of the better bets of the day.

 

Dubbo Best Bet Tip from Luke Hovhanesian

 

Race 5 #4 Plenitude $5.00

The Lundholm stable has a talented up and coming gelding here who is going to be more developed heading into this campaign.

It took him a while to put things together in his opening preparation but the talent was always there.

He enters this contest fresh, with no public trials but returns to a track he thrives at and will get a course with the cut out of the ground.

He should land worse than midfield and save himself for one burst at them.

There is good speed engaged and the big field will work in his favour.

One to add to the blackbook as he steps up in distance.

 

Race 7 #8 Adelsun $4.00

The bet of the day comes in the last with the Cameron Crockett trained Adelsun.

He has only been moderate so far this preparation but hasn't had races run to suit.

He draws well here to save all the ground along the rail, gets Nick Heywood in the saddle and will excel on the soft / heavy track.

Just needs some luck in the straight and at the current price, happy to take that risk.
