Free Horse Racing Tips for Goulburn 29/4/24

Monday racing is once again stacked in NSW with two top tier country meetings set to entertain punters.

Goulburn hosts one of the meetings with Luke Hovhanesian and Mick Gannon picking out their best bets.

Goulburn Best Bets and Tips from Luke Hovhanesian

 

Race 1 #4 Bledisloe $2.60

This formerly trained John O'Shea gelding hasn't found the right conditions to suit him so far in his short career.

He has settled off the field and struggled to run on at tracks where it has been favourable to land on speed.

He comes to his home track of Goulburn off a five week freshen up and gets a long straight to wind up at.

Nick Heywood goes in the saddle and should position him just worse than midfield from barrier 7.

He just needs clear running in the straight to be powering home.

 

Race 6 #8 Steely Girl $3.30

This 3YO filly has returned a much improved horse this preparation.

Her two runs so far have been super and the formlines out of them are really starting to stack up.

Deanne Panya has been riding her well and retains the ride from a soft draw of barrier 3.

This isn't the strongest of races and with the expected economical run, she can be too strong for them late.

 

Goulburn Best Bets and Tips from Mick Gannon

 

Race 5 #6 De Luca $3.30

This filly by Zoustar was very good on debut over the sharp 900m.

She draws inside the favourite who will roll forward with 60kg, which will give her the perfect run.

Jockey Andrew Calder can stalk him wherever he goes from barrier 6 and run over the top late.
