It's another cracking Monday of racing around NSW with two country meetings headlining the action.

Luke Hovhanesian has done the form at Coffs Harbour and found two great plays at odds.

The rail is in the true position and the track is currently rated a soft 6.

Race 2 #12 Staffa $6.00

This 3YO filly from the Stirling Osland camp is racing well this campaign with minimal luck.

She has landed in awkward positions in all three starts and has still tried valiantly to be amongst the finish.

Last start at Tamworth she sat three deep the entire race and ran on powerfully to finish 5th.

She finds a race here with minimal speed inside her and will slide across to sit outside the leader.

She gains Ben Looker in the saddle and at 4th up will be at peak fitness.

Look for a bold showing out in front and if rated well, can pinch this on the bend.

 

Race 3 #13 Cool Machine $3.20

Another 3YO filly who trialed exceptionally well leading into her first up effort at this track.

She sat midfield with cover and ran on strongly but couldn't bridge the margin on the winner who had a break on her.

Now second up and rising to 1400m, look for a much more forward showing in the run.

She should push forward to sit outside the lead and Jon Griesdale retains the ride.
