Free Horse Racing Tips for Albury and Armidale 15/4/24

As has become to the 'norm' for Monday, two cracking NSW country meetings headline racing across Australia.

Armidale and Albury host runners looking to take the next step in their careers.

Luke Hovhanesian has done the form and found some cracking plays for followers.

 

Armidale Best Bets and Tips from Luke Hovhanesian

 

Race 5 #7 Horowitz $8.00

This 7YO gelding is racing in career best form at the moment.

He has put together a string of great runs with only bad barriers getting him beat.

Last start from barrier 12 and with 59kg, he had to sit rearward and wide. This never allowed him to settle in the run and the fact he ran on for 3rd was a huge effort.

Apprentice Glenn Cahill now takes over in the saddle for today, bringing him down to 56kg and he draws much better in barrier 3.

He can land in the moving line then run on strongly to be in the finish.

Looks well placed to put in another great run.

 

Race 6 #3 Pocket Picker $3.50

Pocket Picker resumes from a short 8 week let up last start, when he found one better at this track and distance.

He has been given another short freshen up and the Mason stable believe he races best while fresh.

He draws great here in barrier 4 to either take up the running or land the leader's back.

Ben Looker goes in the saddle and with clean running in the straight can have him in the finish.

 

Albury Best Bets and Tips from Luke Hovhanesian

Race 2 #5 Imposing Tallulah $2.70

This 3YO filly looks well placed to break her maiden.

She was well supported first up at Wagga but didn't have much luck from a wide barrier.

She will strip fitter for this race and now draws much better to take full advantage of her early pace.

Danny Beasley goes in the saddle and can dictate terms to his rivals before kicking strongly on the bend.
