Race 1 #3 Don’t Call Me Honey $2.00

This 3YO gelding started favourite on debut at Tamworth and ran well finishing second behind Soaring Phoenix.

That runner has gone on to be competitive in QLD metro grade at Doomben.

Don’t Call Me Honey has had another trial leading into this and was classy winning by nearly 2L.

He draws perfectly here, gets Jeff Penza aboard and looks set for another huge performance.

 

Race 3 #12 Nettles $3.00

The lethal Annabel Neasham and Alysha Collett duo team up here with this 3YO filly.

Nettles is lightly raced and hasn’t been further back than fifth in any of her trips to the track.

Her last start effort when resuming from a spell behind River Pat and Cross Your Heart reads very well for this event.

She will be prominent in the run and be hard to hold out.
