Mornington is the venue for racing in Victoria today, with an eight race card featuring plenty of promising gallopers.

The track has come up a Good 4 with the rail true and overcast conditions at play.

This gelding from the Clinton McDonald yard put in a solid run first-up at Sandown behind two handy horses in 'Sisterhood' and 'Who Dares'. 

The form out of that race has been good, with 'Who Dares' going on to win and the 4th-placed 'Mont Saint Michel' running 3rd on Saturday at Ballarat. 

Expect him to get the run of the race here in behind the pace from barrier 5, and it is always favourable to be up towards the front at Mornington.

Both the trainer and jockey have strong statistics at the track, with McDonald boasting a 17.1% strike rate and Jamie Kah winning at 28.4%. 

He holds strong winning claims and should be extremely hard to stop.
