Race 1 – #7 Incantress $2.60

Incantress has become somewhat of a tease for punters, showing more promise at the trials than on raceday.

That said, this is her golden opportunity to finally put it all together in what is a thin maiden lacking any standout performers.

From gate two she should land in the first few pairs and with Andrew Mallyon in the saddle, she gets every chance to dictate.

If she can replicate her trial sharpness under race day pressure, she could blow this lot away.

 

Race 5 – #10 Discreet Lady $5.00

Discreet Lady is building an impressive foundation this prep, with three consecutive placings that highlight her consistency and determination.

She returns to the same grade and distance but gets the perfect scenario to convert consistency into victory.

Drawing soft in gate three is ideal, and with Kacie Adams having a strong rapport with the mare, expect her to push forward early and take luck out of the equation.

With race fitness on her side and the right run in transit, this could be her breakthrough moment.
