David Gately heads to Rosehill with the prospect of one of the better winter racing surfaces Sydney has seen in recent weeks.

With no rain forecast and temperatures climbing into the low 20s, the track is expected to remain in the Good range.

The rail moves back to 1 metre after last week's pronounced inside bias, making early race pattern worth watching, although Gately expects a much fairer contest.

Dark Glitter shapes as one of the best roughies on the entire program.

Her latest effort was much better than it appears on paper after racing in behind quality opposition and struggling for clear running at crucial stages.

She also meets Eye Of The Fire on much better weight terms this time around, adding further appeal.

At the current price, Gately believes she's been overlooked by the market and is more than capable of producing a major upset if the gaps appear at the right time.
